Our Mission:

To provide a safe meeting place to assist those persons suffering from the disease of alcoholism, and to promote the recovery, rehabilitation, and prevention of alcoholism.

SCFC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to providing a safe space for recovery.

Governance

Board & Governance

The California Corporation is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Each Member of the Board is listed on the bulletin board in the hallway of the Club.

The Directors are voted into their positions by the membership. Members must have 30 days continuous sobriety. Members must be current on dues or membership fees to vote. Members are encouraged to attend the annual membership meeting on the 2nd Sunday of July. Board Members are required to have 3 years continuous sobriety.

Monthly Board Meetings are held at 5:30PM on the 2nd Sunday of each month with exception of May in honor of Mother's day. These meetings are open to all current SCFC registered members. Members are encourage to attend monthly Board meetings to share their questions, ideas or concerns.
